The LDM43 is a laser based distance measuring module featuring a Profibus?interface. Its outstanding reliability, flexibility and cost-effectiveness recommend the opto-electronic sensor for industrial applications.

Distances ranging from 10 cm up to 150 m can be measured with millimeter accuracy in a non-contact procedure that requires no reflector. An eye-safe easily perceivable measuring laser beam is provided for pin-point alignment of the compact sensor module.

The Profibus?DP-VO interface allows for easy integration of the LDM43 into field-bus-controlled industrial automation environments. The additional SSI interface provides an another standardized tool for data acquisition.
